Beyond the Bottom Line: Calling all Cincinnati non profit capital professionals

Jon Axtell January 8, 2010

SOCAP sponsor, Beyond the Bottom Line, is hosting a Cincinnati event:
How to Thrive in 2010:
As 2010 begins, the financial landscape for nonprofits may have changed forever. The era of incremental cost cutting is over. If nonprofits still need to save money in 2010, they’re likely cutting entire programs. Organizations can benefit from focusing more on building revenue, as opposed to just cutting costs. Relying on old-business models to fund your organization that center around one large donor or annual event (like an annual gala) will no longer be a viable strategy. The nonprofits in the strongest position for the upcoming year will be those who have diversified their revenue streams.
John Gillespie is the founder and president of Beyond the Bottom Line, an interim CFO and executive search firm that helps nonprofits and social enterprises take control of their numbers and achieve their missions by providing hands-on, objective financial services and support.  This seminar is intended for CEO’s, executive directors, board members and senior executives with fiscal responsibility. Participants will leave with timely, action items to help your organization thrive in 2010.
