On how women model new paradigms of leadership and power

March 24-24, 2021
11:30 am - 3:30 pm
Virtual - Starts at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT

Changing times call for a change in how we collectively build, innovate and transform our society. As we enter our third year, SPECTRUM is excited to introduce year round offerings that focus on justice, equity and action.

Creating more touch points for the community to connect, learn and do together is the goal for 2021. Instead of just one event we want to create multiple events ranging from half-day to full-day virtual engagements. In between events SPECTRUM will host monthly dedicated networking events, special programming and other community engagement to connect in smaller groups.

From the White House to the boardroom, women have made huge strides in the last year. Trailblazers like Kamala Harris as the first woman and first woman of color to serve as Vice President of the United States and Rosiland Brewer, new CEO of Walgreens will become the only Black woman to lead a fortune 500 company, shattered long overdue glass ceilings. The country stands on the shoulders of women such as Stacey Abrams, Rachel Levine and Amanda Gorman who are rewriting history and creating a new America for generations to come.

As we honor the ongoing strives women are making, how do we guarantee that these firsts aren’t the last? What resources are needed to ensure our collective gains trickle down to the most vulnerable and overlooked women who still live in the shadows of our society?

Join us as we hear from women and men who are on the frontlines of creating a more inclusive and equitable society where all of us can thrive.
