Build Collaborative Teams While Shortening The Time New Teams Spend In Conflict And Confusion

DIANNE CRAMPTON July 8, 2022

For successful collaboration and in workforce transformation, six researched-based and validated principles build high performance teams. They are Trust, Interdependence, Genuineness, Empathy, Risk resolution and Success.

In this workshop you experience a hands-on and interactive activity that teaches the 6 principles and is used for building group behavior norms (behavior MOUs) that shorten the time new collaborators and project and cross-functional teams spend in conflict and confusion.

In this workshop you experience:

  • The role behavior plays in the emotional acceptance of roles, goals and relationships of Collaboratives;
  • How removing behavior misunderstandings boosts engagement and accountability while reducing procedural conflict; and,
  • How the six principles tap into the natural human desire for success and making a difference.

When your goal is to execute collaborative projects and operations be sure not to miss this activity.

Purpose and Desired Outcome

The purpose is to expose why 65% of first time collaborations fail even with the best of intentions. Roles, goals and relationships are fuel behind collaborative operations. However, relationships hinge it all together and behavior norms keep relationships productive, engaged and moving forward. They remove the primary cause of why collaborative teams digress though conflict. Outcomes received are the following: 1. Working understanding of the 6 Principles' impact on any successful collaboration. 2. How to avoid collaboration failure though team member contribution to behavior MOUs 3.. Understanding of the impact behavior norm MOUs on accountability and commitment for outcomes 4. How to shorten the time new ad hoc collaboration teams spend in conflict and confusion.
