California Capitalism: How copying the VC structures from California tech isn't the answer for mission-driven startups and SMEs

Luni Libes May 12, 2021

The California Capitalism paradigm is focused on unicorns, 10x+ returns, “go big or go home”, “Zero to One”, etc.  This is the wrong answer for 99.9% of all startups, especially the mission-driven for-profits that solve real problems.

The blame here isn’t on the investors. They are simply stuck in a paradigm and from within a paradigm, it is hard to see any other way to act. Take a moment, open your mind, and you can help shift the paradigm and make most companies investable.
