Cracking the Code: Unlocking True Climate Impact Through Transformative Popular Culture

Aria McKenna April 1, 2023

The latest IPCC report makes it clear that humanity is on track to pass climate tipping points . This could leave society in a tail-spin as ecosystems around the world collapse and vital resources like clean water and food dwindle. High level conversations about climate science have failed to save us from the climate crisis as resistance to change has made rapid progress extremely challenging.

What if we’ve been having the wrong conversations with the wrong people? What if the key to unlocking real climate progress lies in healing cultural divides and changing popular culture through transformative, entertaining stories that empower real systemic change?

Purpose and Desired Outcome

Leaders can’t make change in a vacuum - they need everyday people to help drive that change. Artists tell stories that can reach hearts and minds, amplifying impact through a mainstream audience. We would love to see support for those stories to help drive the sort of change that helps all of us reach our climate and equity goals.
