Designing MIT Solve’s 2022 Challenges

Sharon Bort May 26, 2021

Urban farmers in Lagos. Local drones for disaster relief in Fiji. Storytelling to improve care for Alzheimer’s patients. MIT’s Solve initiative identified and supports these and many other social innovators with the best solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges each year. During this session, join a cross-sector conversation around our 2022 Global Challenge themes. You’ll help shape which topics the Challenge focuses on, and identify ways to support the equitable implementation of the solutions that emerge.

Attendees will get to learn from other attendees about how other organizations are tackling these big problems, meet new potential partners, and understand how you can work with and support early-stage tech entrepreneurship in addressing issues across sustainability, economic prosperity, learning, and health. This is an exciting opportunity to meet new connections while engaging around hard topics and understanding the local context and expertise of your peers.

Solve is an initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a mission to solve world challenges. Solve is a marketplace for social impact innovation. Through open innovation Challenges, Solve finds incredible tech-based social entrepreneurs all around the world. Solve then brings together MIT’s innovation ecosystem and a community of Members to fund and support these entrepreneurs to help them drive lasting, transformational impact.
