What if our approach to community impact is broken? Philanthropy and community-service delivery is fraught with power imbalances and too often perpetuates philanthropy’s challenging role in community life. National trust-based movement leaders will share their experiences grappling with these issues by implementing trust-based philanthropy and social good efforts.
This panel will provide the opportunity to pause and consider your social enterprise values and priorities and how those are reflected throughout our work – in practice, community connections, and communications with partners. Additionally, we’ll talk about what happens when your practices aren’t aligned with your values, brainstorm small steps you can take in your current role, and daydream about how those little changes add up to meaningful shifts in our work around social change.
Speakers are part of a team that is a global leader in trust-based social good, having assisting nearly 200 global brands in configuring a trust-based approach to achieve authentic relationships with local communities.
