Description
Mental health and substance use care are still funded largely as cost centers, even though improvements in outcomes lead to reduced downstream costs for health systems, payers, employers, and governments. This panel will explore how outcome-driven metrics can shift the funding framework from paying for volume to investing in measurable impact. Drawing on a replicable framework developed by the Sorenson Impact Institute for Huntsman Mental Health Institute, speakers will discuss how better evidence can unlock more funding, expand access to care, and strengthen community wellbeing and shared prosperity.
