Description

Inspired by the natural phenomenon of the Saharan dust plume, this immersive and interactive session reimagines how capital, resources, and knowledge can be mobilized to nurture ecosystems for social and environmental impact.

Just as desert nutrients travel across the Atlantic to fertilize the Amazon jungle, we explore how intentional collaboration and aligned capital can seed innovation, sustain growth, and create powerful, regenerative impact. Participants will engage in a multisensory, heart-centered experience designed to foster deep human connections, spark meaningful partnerships, and inspire aligned action.

In an intimate space designed for connection, attendees will gather in a circle, immersed in a multisensory experience. They will be surrounded by dynamic visuals of the Saharan Desert, the Amazon Jungle, and the transatlantic air currents that carry vital nutrients across continents. A curated Spotify playlist will provide the sounds of nature, and subtle earthy aromas will enhance the atmosphere. With eyes closed, participants will embark on a guided visualization that mirrors the movement of the Saharan dust to the Amazon- just as capital, when intentionally mobilized, can flow, take root, and spark transformative growth.

Afterward, through a dynamic blend of simple breathwork, alongside fun and fluid movement across the room, participants will physically embody the flow of capital, knowledge and resources within the impact ecosystem, deepening their awareness of their role in it. They will then take part in three rounds of small-group discussions, each time forming a new group of 4 to 5 people. In each round, all groups will explore the same thought-provoking question, inspired by the session’s core themes—interconnected ecosystems, the flow of capital, and resource distribution. After each round, participants will move to form a new group and engage with a new question. Brief moments of breathwork and movement will guide these transitions.

By the end, participants will have cultivated meaningful connections, setting the foundation for deep collaborations throughout the conference and beyond.

Our networking experience-designers and facilitators bring a personal connection to this narrative. Hanae hails from Morocco, a country that is home to part of the vast Saharan Desert, and Jimena from Colombia, a country whose almost half of their territory extends into the Amazon Jungle. Their life experiences reflect the very dynamics of this session—movement, transformation, and the power of interconnected ecosystems.
