precision education for K-6 at scale, why it matters and how do we get there?
Big data is permeating through all major social groups but education operates in very siloed classrooms. How can we use technology to advance our learning and what are the ethics involved.
The Education 2030 Framework for Action has set two key finance benchmarks for governments. It calls for them to:
- allocate at least 4% to 6% of GDP to education, and/or
- allocate at least 15% to 20% of public expenditure to education.
Globally, on average, governments are far from these norms. Increasing investment in online schools can help significantly improve the quality while meeting the prices of public education.
