Futurizing the Social Sector

Now, more than ever, the world needs innovative solutions that address the myriad of global challenges and tackle critical problems that are not going away. However, complex global problems require a multi-faceted approach, including engagement with local experts and social sector leaders, and an acknowledgement of the limitations of technology and innovation. In this era of endless invention and accelerated technologies, we must recall the original premise of innovation: solving for real-life problems. To truly drive social change, we need purposeful innovation. Building on La Piana Consulting’s Real Time Strategic Planning methodology, this workshop will introduce a new strategic framework that integrates cross-sector alliances and the 3 foundational considerations of Equity, Technology & Climate (“ETC”) into an approach that can ‘futurize’ the social sector and accelerate social change.
