The microloan market serving small businesses has been traditionally difficult for large investors to enter. Further, small businesses often need multiple types of capital including equity to grow their business and be resilient to external forces. Through fueling existing networks and building capacity in local lenders, investors of all sizes and risk tolerances can support small businesses.
