For the past half century the norm for startup and growth capital is the limited partnership investment fund. This structure works for some styles of investing but doesn’t work for the vast majority of companies, especially impact companies, and thus is not the best choice for investors. In this panel we’ll explain how holding companies work and we’ll talk two two new real world examples, CoPeace and Africa Eats, and explain the long term strategy and benefits that a permanent capital holding company adds both to investors and entrepreneurs.
