The world has changed. It is not just about having a bank account anymore. It’s about how people use digital financial services for what matters to them and what opportunities they realize. “Digital equity,” or the ability for all to benefit from online tools and innovative technologies, is critical in helping millions in developed and under-developed regions take full advantage of the digital economy as the world struggles to rebound from the pandemic.
This session will address how people and businesses can help bridge the digital divide to enable access and create opportunities in underserved communities through digital skills, knowledge of the formal financial economy and real-life training.
