How are we characterising risk today, and who needs to be seen, heard, and centred as we design the next normal?

Emerging markets, climate change, and female fund managers are all areas where the perception of risk is changing. Emerging markets are becoming increasingly important to the global economy, and as they do, the risks associated with them are also changing. Climate change is another area where the perception of risk is evolving, as the effects of climate change become more evident. And finally, female fund managers are challenging traditional perceptions of risk. They are showing that women can be successful investors, and that their approach to risk management may be different from that of their male counterparts. As we design the next normal, it is essential that we take into account the changing perception of risk. Emerging markets, climate change, and female fund managers all need to be seen, heard, and centred in our decision-making.
