For a long time, quantifying the non-financial impact of a company’s products and investments was difficult and imprecise, but recent technological advancements have brought about a revolution in the evaluation and measurement of sustainable and social outcomes.
In this interactive, hands-on workshop, professionals at the forefront of the ESG technology field will explore the ways institutions can evaluate how their investments correspond to frameworks like the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with the help of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics.
The workshop will be conducted by leaders from the New York City FinTech Innovation Lab and Util. The FinTech Innovation Lab pairs fintech startups with leading financial institutions, including Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan and BlackRock, to further develop and refine their products and strategies. Util, one of the ten companies in this year’s Lab cohort, gathers and evaluates data on companies’ impact on the “most critical social and environmental issues of our time.”
