Participants will dive into Criterion’s framework for analyzing power dynamics and show how to remedy inequalities through investment decisions. CARE Enterprises will facilitate exercises based on their gender investment framework and innovative technical assistance provision, which focuses on gender equity in investee companies’ business models and workplaces. All will be demonstrated through interactive exercises – participants will spend more time on their feet and in groups than sitting and listening to talking heads!

We will give investors a framework for analyzing inequalities in their investment processes and portfolios to ultimately make better decisions and achieve gender justice, The workshop draws on the expertise in the room, with an exchange of experiences, tools and methods for shaping better investment processes and portfolio management. We will workshop how these tools and activities can be applied to identify and remedy a holistic spectrum of gender-related issues in an investment portfolio, including the reduction of sexual harassment and gender-based violence, promotion of equity in the workplace, increasing prosperity for women consumers, and promoting market-access for women suppliers.
