Fossil fuels companies will only change when the market forces them to. In this fireside chat, we’ll learn how to create that influence. During this session, entrepreneurs, lawyers, and financial advisors will discuss the crucial role of divestment and collective action in accelerating climate solutions. We’ll explore the link between divestment and climate justice, identify some legal barriers to change, and talk about creating collective wins. Audience members will leave this session with an action plan that pinpoints how they can divest from fossil fuels in their individual lives, workplaces, and communities, plus strategies on where to go after encountering roadblocks.
