Navigating Economic Uncertainty and Achieving Impact through Traditional and Non-Traditional Financing

Dahna Goldstein July 13, 2022

Despite the groundswell of corporate and cultural support for Black and brown initiatives, underinvestment in founders of color has reverted back to the mean, with a steep drop in venture funding to Black-founded startups in Q2. Yet founders of color continue to make significant headway by being customer first, capital efficient, and delivering needed and valued products and services.  In this fireside chat, investors from BVCC Fund and Halcyon Fund will discuss traditional and alternative financing as founders of color navigate an uncertain economic environment to build sustainable and profitable enterprises.
