Not just jobs, let’s create dignified jobs for the extremely poor : A framework for investors to safeguard quality of jobs

Shruti Goel July 13, 2022

Impact reporting is under fire (Elon Musk!). For impact investors, we must not only prove impact, but actively step-up to safeguard the interests of the excluded and the marginalized. Many investors in emerging markets report on job creation, but numbers are not enough. We need to go beyond just scratching the surface. To influence a power shift and bring about transformative change, we must agree to a common definition of job quality and hold each other accountable to that standard. Join us in this deep dive workshop and contribute your expertise in setting powerful new standards for dignified jobs for the poor in emerging markets.
