The Inclusive Capital Collective is a growing US-based network of over 250 BIPOC capital innovators and entrepreneur support organizations and their allies-in-action. ICC members are working to overcome systemic racism through equitable access to capital, and are building a collectively owned and governed financial institution that mobilizes capital; fosters innovation of trauma-informed financial products and mechanisms; provides technical and peer support to its members; and changes the narrative from DEI to justice in financial systems. In this session we discuss what it looks like to shifting power by taking control and ownership of financial mechanisms that grow the wealth and health of historically marginalized communities.
