The 2022 Edelman Trust Barometer indicates that corporations are deemed by the public as more trustworthy than government and the media, making them uniquely positioned to achieve Impact. Countable believes that any sustainable business of the 21st century must be a purposeful one and must leverage this public trust to achieve net positive outcomes. And by purposeful we don’t mean tied to a cause marketing slogan or charity, but rather infused with a purpose mindset across all parts–and all stakeholders–of the business. But many organizations struggle with how to infuse their business with purpose. The businesses that make a successful transition from being simply mission-driven to fully purpose-driven have done so by applying business thinking to Impact.
In this panel, Jory Des Jardins, CMO of Countable, will speak with CEOs from brands like Patagonia, Levi’s, and Albertsons, as well as with Bobbi Silten, Managing Director of the Shared Value Initiative to discuss the key steps they’ve seen organizations take to behave more like impact driven organizations, and give their work a greater purpose that various stakeholder communities can get behind.
