The “Orange Economy” - Creative Economy Spotlight on Latin America

Sarah Lang May 27, 2021

The creative economy or “Orange Economy” as it’s known in the region, generates more than $177 billion dollars a year and provides jobs for over 10 million people in Latin America. With 20% of the population between age 15-24, LATAM is leading the world when it comes to using digital technologies both to create new stories and preserve traditional culture. Upstart proposes a conversation in Spanish to highlight creative economy activity across LATAM.

Visit Creativity, Culture & Capital (www.creativityculturecapital.org) to learn more about impact investing in the global creative economy. The website will be available in Spanish beginning June 2021.
