One approach to achieving social impact is “when people experiencing poverty imagine and create their own initiatives for improving their lives.” – The Bridgespan Group. FutureProof Studio presents a 90-mins hands-on workshop on participatory approaches for Peer-Driven Change. This workshop showcases our learnings from 10+ years of social innovation experience working in 25+ countries and with clients such as MIT D-Lab, UNDP Mexico and WWF. Purpose and Desired Outcome
We believe peer-driven change approaches have the ability to shift philanthropic decision-making structures and increase the decision-making power at the community level by strategically centering communities in the design, implementation, and evaluation processes by leveraging their experience, knowledge, and peer networks. The desired outcome for our workshop is that participants will better understand participatory and peer-driven change approaches in social innovation that put people and communities at the center of decision-making.
