Delta Air Lines and Someone Somewhere recently announced a partnership to change the way their amenity kits are made. The new products are now made by rural artisans that used to live in extreme poverty, using local and recycled materials that significantly reduce the products’ carbon footprint. Millions of people are already receiving this amenity kits, and are being able to meet the artisan behind each of them thanks to a QR code that comes in every item. Customers can even send direct messages to the artisans to create a stronger connection with the people behind their products. In this fireside chat Sam Sibble (Supply Chain Director of Delta Air Lines) and Antonio Nuno (CEO of Someone Somewhere) will share the story behind this unique partnership
