How do investors in impact projects in the crypto space derive returns now, both in capital gains and in accomplishment of impact goals? How do impact entrepreneurs building crypto-based projects still get the resources they need? And finally, how are some impact enterprises trying to fundamentally reimagine systems of capital and commerce at a local scale? Panelists would include one or more representatives from Flori Ventures, a fund investing in projects built on the Celo blockchain network, a representative from the Celo Foundation, and at least one founder building an impact project on Celo and funded by Flori.

Purpose and Desired Outcome
There needs to be a positive presence at this year's SOCAP from and for the somewhat beleaguered crypto impact world, and not just from A16Z and the like. Funders and founders alike still have so much to learn and share about how impact companies with crypto-related projects can access capital, measure and achieve impact goals, and provide a return to investors. The events of this year should be causing a necessary reset of expectations around what this sub-ecosystem of impact capital looks like and how it functions.
