Impact investing is a growing movement, with annual surveys by the Global Impact Investing Network demonstrating that USD $15 billion was invested in impact in 2015 with an increase to USD $715 billion in 2020. With interest in impact investing heightening, it is important to ensure that the emerging leaders of this movement are empowered to fuel the innovation we need to build a regenerative future.
What is the best way to train future generations of impact investors—youth seeking to enter the movement along with those taking the reigns of family offices and foundations? How do you foster equitable and inclusive access to this space so that we invest with future generations instead of for them?
Join Spring Activator in an interactive discussion about these questions and more as we share our best practices and invite budding impact investors to share their experiences with our programming and also what it’s like to implement their learnings in practice.
We will elaborate on our models of training early-stage impact investors as well as engaging youth in hands-on learning opportunities within these models. Event participants will then have the opportunity to join moderated breakout sessions with our speakers who have participated in our models and “in the field.” The speakers will share their personal experiences, elaborating on the wins and challenges along their journeys, and participants will have the opportunity to ask in-depth questions.
Following the breakout sessions, there will be space for reflection and sharing, resulting in an output of recommendations for those interested in this space. The workshop is ideal for anyone seeking to become an impact investor, individuals in the early stages of impact investing, and organizations seeking to catalyze the next generation of impact investors.
