What if impact investors had to pitch to social entrepreneurs? Can Impact Investors and Social Entrepreneurs create solutions in less than an hour?
Role playing and rapid prototyping are at the core of this session aimed to help participants explore the barriers and gaps between young social innovators and impact investors. Following a create-first-think-later methodology, facilitators will encourage teams to prototype solutions to challenges based on SDGs, and then guide the conversation to tap into the knowledge of participants, so multiple perspectives can be included. To enrich the conversation, five young social entrepreneurs from different countries, alumni of the Social Innovation Warehouse, will join the groups to add some grassroot perspectives from their local experiences.
But beware! Everyone will be encouraged to participate and assume a role, so be ready to take part!
