We are all aware that unconscious bias results in women receiving about 2% of VC funding each year. What we need now, more than ever, is practical, tactical skills to dismantle this bias. Join this highly interactive workshop to learn about the different kinds of questions posed to male vs. female entrepreneurs and how these questions directly impact the funding raised by women. Most importantly, we will learn how to transform the conversation and raise an average of 14x more in additional funding. This session is appropriate for founders, funders and fund managers.

Purpose and Desired Outcome
As a result of this session, we hope that founders learn how to dismantle unconscious bias and as a result, raise significantly more funding. We also hope that investors and fund managers will recognize the unconscious bias inherent in the startup funding ecosystem and seek to remove those barriers for female founders. We will work through this in the course of the workshop exercises and discussions.
