Who Builds the List? A Skills Lab for Funders and Practitioners in Community-Led Impact Measurement

Communities are left out of the conversations that set the standards for evaluating their own success. Well-meaning interventions are measured against criteria that aren’t generated by the people they are meant to serve. The work can show failure when something real is happening, or success while erasing what actually mattered to the people living in context.

This Skills Lab puts that gap on the table. Through a real case study from our work with Indigenous communities in Phoenix, Arizona, participants see what emerges when communities define their own success markers through a facilitated consensus process.
