SOCAP26 is designed to catalyze action. At a time marked by accelerating climate change, economic uncertainty, and growing financial strain for many, our community is uniquely positioned to move capital toward practical solutions. The SOCAP26 agenda will reflect this mandate, with tracks intentionally built to reduce friction, unlock sidelined resources, and accelerate deployment across sectors.
This year, we are taking a new leap and hosting SOCAP26 in Chicago for the first time, a move that strengthens our ability to serve the field, connect more audiences, and build a larger, more inclusive platform. Bringing SOCAP to Chicago is both a milestone and a statement: The Midwest has long been a laboratory for practical innovation, where finance meets industry, community meets infrastructure, and bold ideas are implemented in the real economy. In addition to our global focus, we will place a special spotlight on learnings and lessons from the innovations and collaborations that have emerged from Chicago and across the Midwest—solutions grounded in resilience, collaboration, and shared prosperity.
Over three days, institutional investors, LPs and GPs, foundation leaders, corporates, entrepreneurs, and practitioners from impact-driven organizations will come together not only to share insights, but to structure partnerships, design investable vehicles, and move capital into action. Below, we share how we are organizing SOCAP26 programming to help attendees meet their goals while at the event.
Join us in Chicago from October 12 to 14, 2026, to move solutions from conversation to implementation, and be a part of building meaningful, resilient impact.
SOCAP26 Tracks
At SOCAP, content curation is about more than choosing speakers. Our goal is to design sessions that actively engage participants, spark collaboration, and inspire our community to mobilize capital and advance practical, scalable solutions.
The SOCAP26 programming tracks focus on unlocking new pathways for capital deployment, aligning investment and policy with inclusive economic models, accelerating funding for climate action, strengthening the infrastructure that enables broad participation, and advancing place-based strategies rooted in community priorities.
Core perspectives, including equity, impact measurement, technology, and global and regional insights, are woven throughout the agenda.
The agenda will be released in Summer 2026. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when it is released!
How We Are Organizing the SOCAP26 Programming
This year, SOCAP is focused on solutions-driven conversations that move beyond identifying challenges to co-creating practical approaches for a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable future. Our goal is to equip attendees with the insights, connections, and tools needed to turn ideas into real-world impact.
On the first day, sessions will take place throughout Chicago, highlighting innovations led by local partners and demonstrating how investment, policy, and community action can generate tangible solutions. These experiences give attendees firsthand exposure to scalable approaches while fostering connections that advance measurable results.
Across the three-day conference, SOCAP26 will continue to prioritize sessions that catalyze collaboration and solution-building. Programming ranges from macro-level policy discussions to place-based initiatives, hands-on workshops for developing skills and tools, and relationship-driven sessions designed to reduce barriers and accelerate meaningful outcomes.
How Is Content Curated for SOCAP26?
To ensure an agenda that responds to the needs and challenges of the impact community, SOCAP’s content curation is a collaborative process that ensures a diverse and comprehensive program for our annual event. At SOCAP26, our content will be curated through three distinct sources:
- Selected through SOCAP Open, these community-driven sessions appear across all tracks and are exclusively focused on creating highly engaging, participatory experiences that guide attendees toward practical solutions. Our SOCAP Open call for proposals launches on March 16th.
- A significant portion of our content comes from our trusted partners—organizations that are deeply aligned with SOCAP’s mission and long-standing community. Working closely with our content team throughout the year, they bring highly curated sessions and experts to the SOCAP stages, contributing actionable insights and practical approaches for attendees. For more information on Content Partnerships, email our COO & Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships, Tova Lobatz (tova@socapglobal.com).
- Certain key sessions are curated directly by the SOCAP team, including an opening ceremony, track panels, and the newcomers’ welcome. These sessions are designed to foster relationships, encourage collaboration, and provide attendees with opportunities to share ideas and work together on practical, transformative solutions.
Through this aligned and collective framework, SOCAP26 will offer a dynamic, inclusive agenda that equips attendees to connect, collaborate, and take meaningful steps toward real-world impact.
