Description
TO THE CATALYSTS, BIG THINKERS, AND FIRST-MOVERS: In today’s public markets that prioritize short-term profit, is it possible to self-organize for maximum contribution that uplifts everyone? How might we create market signals for love and care? Can we imagine a world where investing is a full expression of what we care about and businesses are unleashed to solve our greatest challenges?
A movement is afoot to create a representative shareholder democracy by voting shareholder votes alongside trusted civil society organizations, thus aligning corporate purpose with societal values. Powered by cutting-edge proxy voting technology and institutional fund managers adopting passthrough voting, shareholder voting and thus corporate governance is rapidly transforming.
This workshop leverages experiential learning to help participants envision and design for this emerging future. It will encourage cross-sector dialogue and innovative solutions that are practically applicable, equipping investors, family offices, donor-advised funds, foundations, and civil society organizations to co-create systemic change aligned with their values. Join us to unlock the power of shareholder democracy and co-create an economy that works for people and the planet.
