IGNIA Fund Leads $7 million Financing of Finestrella

The Latin American impact investing firm IGNIA has lead the $7 million financing of the Mexican telecommunications firm Finestrella. Finestrella provides a simple and economical service for unbanked bottom of the pyramid consumers. In Mexico prepaid phone services can be costly for lower-income people. Finestrella provides affordable postpaid mobile services with no upfront costs. With $7 million in funds from IGNIA Finestrella seeks to expand it existing services and provide more affordable telecommunications services to bottom of the pyramid consumers.
