OneCalifornia Bank to Acquire ShoreBank Pacific

OneCalifornia Bank and ShoreBank Pacific, signed an agreement for ShoreBank to be acquired by OneCalifornia Bank. Both have been deeply involved in SOCAP in past years. This will extend OneCalifornia’s products and services as well as impact to more states. OneCalifornia Bank’s history of providing responsible financial services to low income communities will compliment ShoreBank Pacific’s focus on aiding environmentally sustainable businesses such as sustainable agriculture and renewable energy. ShoreBank Pacific was founded in 1997 and became a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in 2009. OneCalifornia Bank was founded in 2007 and strives to serive the triple bottom line of social mission, profit, and environment. It provides banking services with along with financial literacy and loans to businesses, nonprofits, and community facilities.
