At @socapeurope we will be putting art and the social value of ecosystem services created by indigenous people on the balance sheet. Join us in late May in Amsterdam. The market is not an inexorable force of nature. We are not only greedy. Cooperation is a key survival habit. It’s built in. We value things in the commons, where the ducks swim between the banks of the flowing river, where children play and people paint pictures. We built the market. we can recreate it where we get a world we can all live in. The market. What if we gave ourselves a do over, back at the place where we created the first sophisticated capital market.
