SOCAP would like to congratulate two-time SOCAP scholarship recipient and innovation showcase participant Zambikes for being featured on CNN this week.
Zambikes is making a difference, one bike at a time, by setting up a factory in Zambia capable of producing high-end, lightweight bicycles made from local resources such as bamboo. These bikes help locals’ accessibility to food, water, and medicine – helping to improve quality of life in a country that has long struggled with economic hardship.
