Think Bigger, Think Differently

The Bush Foundation is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and encourages individuals and organizations to think bigger and think differently about what is possible in communities across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. With the SOCAP17 Bush Foundation Scholarship for Social Business Creators, leaders from these states will have the chance to attend the Social Capital Markets conference, to build valuable connections and stronger networks.
“We are excited to partner with SOCAP to provide greater opportunities for social entrepreneurs in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota to connect with global changemakers and investors in the impact space,” said Bilal Alkatout, Community Innovations Associate at the Bush Foundation. “We find tremendous value in offering leaders the time and space to connect with one another and with new people, especially at larger national and international events where our region is typically underrepresented.”
“Social entrepreneurs have always been at the heart of SOCAP and we are excited to partner with the Bush Foundation to bring more entrepreneur voices to SOCAP17, at our tenth anniversary event in San Francisco,” said Lindsay Smalling, SOCAP Producer and Curator.
