5. Join the Good Capital Project to Drive More Capital to Purpose Driven Investments
SOCAP also hosts the largest gathering in the world of impact investors with over 1000 investors present from across the impact capital sector. This year we launched our new initiative The Good Capital Project (GCP) in New York in June. GCP is a two-year project designed to increase collaboration across silos to accelerate capital flows to purpose driven investments.
At SOCAP17, the GCP will share some of the learnings gleaned from the Grand Challenges work and announce the central themes of the next phase of the project. Several GCP Workshops at SOCAP17 will offer you the opportunity to get involved, offer input, and help move this work forward.

Over the past ten years of SOCAP conferences, we have convened people, ideas, and capital to catalyze world change. Impact increasingly has a place across all asset classes and investor types, but the work is far from done.
