Tara-Nicholle Nelson is a wonder woman. She is the former VP, Marketing for MyFitnessPal, now part of Under Armour, and during her time there she grew their users from 45 million to over 100 million. She is also the author of The Transformational Consumer: Fuel a Lifelong Love Affair With Customers by Helping Them Get Healthier, Wealthier and Wiser, and Creator of the 30 Day Writing Challenge for Conscious Leaders. She is now an Entrepreneur in Residence with Lightspeed Venture Partners and the Founder and CEO of a startup called SoulTour, a technology and media platform for upliftment and spiritual wellbeing. And to top it all off, she has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Essence and The New York Times and was recently named the #1 woman Silicon Valley tech companies should be naming to their boards by Business Insider. We sat down with Tara-Nicholle to talk to her about how she’s managed such an incredible career so far and how she’s introducing spirituality into the tech world: and as an added bonus, she shared her best advice for a morning routine that inspires and connects people with the importance of their work.
