Explore the 25 Community-Driven SOCAP25 Open Sessions

SOCAP Global June 30, 2025

See these sessions live at SOCAP25 this October in San Francisco

Join us in celebrating the 25 sessions selected through this year’s SOCAP Open process! SOCAP Open is at the heart of SOCAP’s mission to uplift voices that bring fresh insights and amplify new ideas and solutions. This unique annual opportunity invites changemakers from around the world to help shape the content at our flagship conference.

Now in its twelfth year, SOCAP Open invites anyone interested in participating to submit a session proposal. The collaborative outlet gives voice to diverse, global perspectives. The SOCAP community then votes on the sessions they feel are most important.

Sessions born from SOCAP Open lead to dynamic, action-oriented panels and workshops where critical ideas are presented. In support of the SOCAP25 theme, The Future Is Collaborative: Taking Impact Mainstream, we encouraged session submissions that emphasized collaboration — across sectors, disciplines, and geographies — to help us bring impact to the mainstream in a bold and innovative way.

This year, we received more than 11,500 votes for the more than 300 submitted session ideas. Our Content Curation Councils and dedicated content team narrowed it down to 25 sessions selected to take the stage at SOCAP25, where they will open the conversation to our 2,000 attendees. These community-driven sessions span across the five SOCAP25 content tracks and account for about one-third of the event programming.

Explore the sessions and the organization that submitted each proposal below. Then, register to attend these sessions live at SOCAP25 from October 27 to 29 in San Francisco!
