See these sessions live at SOCAP26 this October in Chicago
Join us in celebrating the sessions selected through the 2026 SOCAP Open process! SOCAP Open is at the heart of SOCAP’s mission to uplift voices that bring fresh insights and amplify new ideas and solutions. This unique annual opportunity invites changemakers from around the world to help shape the content at our flagship conference.
For more than a decade, this community-inspired process has invited anyone interested to submit a session proposal and help drive the conversation at our annual global impact event. The collaborative outlet amplifies underrepresented voices and spotlights organizations and individuals who are actively driving change. The SOCAP community then votes on the sessions they feel are most important — we received more than 13,500 votes this year! Together, our content team and the Content Curation Councils narrow submissions down, based on the proposal guidelines, to a select few to present live.
As global challenges intensify, the need for practical, solutions-driven collaboration has never been greater. This year, SOCAP Open participants were asked to submit proposals focused on collective action. The selected sessions feature impact leaders with not just ideas and inspiration, but tangible tools, resources, and lessons that can be applied, adapted, and scaled.
Explore the sessions and the organizations that submitted each proposal below. Then register to attend these sessions live at SOCAP26 in Chicago from October 12 to 14!
