Join Alan Martinez, Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships at the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability, in a workshop that will challenge participants to think creatively about the question; how can we leverage conservation finance and radical collaborations to increase farmers’ adoption of Regenerative Agriculture practices?
The session will begin with a brief presentation on Atkinson’s ongoing project that seeks to increase the use of regenerative agriculture practices to improve water quality in the Great Lakes region, and beyond. Next, participants will apply what they learned, and reflect on their organization and role, by working with others to co-design a potential financial product that would incentivize these practices. Individuals will be broken up into small groups to discuss and work on this problem, time will be allocated for sharing product ideas and a final discussion.
