Join Us in Celebrating 24 Sessions Selected from the Community-Led SOCAP Open Process

SOCAP Global June 17, 2024

Meet us at SOCAP24 this October in San Francisco to see these take the stage!

To effectively unlock capital for impact, our core mission at SOCAP, we must hear from a wide array of voices, including those often unheard and underrepresented. For 12 years, SOCAP Open has invited changemakers in our community and beyond to engage those diverse, global perspectives, prioritizing voices that bring fresh insights and amplify new solutions.

Through this annual process, we welcome proposals from anyone interested in participating and then invite the SOCAP community to vote on their favorite submissions. Community-contributed content ensures that perspectives that might otherwise go unnoticed will be showcased. These innovative ideas become some of the most compelling sessions at our annual convening, presenting critical solutions that support our community in achieving our SOCAP24 theme, Going Deeper: Catalyzing Systems Change.

SOCAP Open submissions come from all around the world, bringing forward solutions from the brightest global minds to rethink existing structures and relationships and create a new way forward. The selected SOCAP Open sessions will have the opportunity to present on stage at SOCAP24, opening the conversation to our 2,500 attendees.

The response to the 2024 SOCAP Open was powerful and led to our most-engaged SOCAP Open ever. This year, more than 15,000 people voted for more than 400 submitted session ideas. With the help of our Content Curation Councils and content team, 24 full-length sessions were selected to take the stage at SOCAP24. These community-sourced sessions span across the eight SOCAP24 content tracks and account for about one-third of the event content. Explore the sessions and the organization that submitted each proposal below. Then, register to join us SOCAP24 from October 28 to 30 in San Francisco to attend these sessions live and be part of the conversation!
