Civicacy: Streaming Trust Back Into Public Health and Civic Life

Civicacy is a public-health-centered civic streaming platform built to repair trust, counter health misinformation, and turn evidence into community action. Currently incubated within Helios Recovery Services, Civicacy combines expert-led video content from former federal behavioral health and public health professionals with ethical creator economy principles to help communities understand the systemic drivers shaping their health and civic lives. This session explores how mission-aligned media platforms can serve as infrastructure for public health literacy, civic participation, and community resilience in an era defined by distrust and disinformation.
