7:30 AM - 8:15 AM PDT
Across the international development field - from NGOs to philanthropy to impact investing - well-intentioned projects often miss the mark. The unintended consequences of these projects risk harming the very communities we aim to support. However, by elevating community voices, we have the opportunity to create greater efficiency, minimize risk, and drive sustainable change. In this session, we will discuss how to go beyond deep listening to center community leadership in project design and decision-making processes to maximize social impact.
