Be present at the world premiere of the new documentary, “Equity,” along with a conversation with Napoleon Wallace, who is continuing to build a network of racial equity and wealth-building initiatives as he grapples with late-stage ALS.
Napoleon left his position as North Carolina’s deputy secretary of commerce to pursue his comprehensive strategy to build Black wealth and bridge racial wealth gaps. He asked his wife for two years to build a set of organizations including Partners in Equity, Activest and the Southern Reconstruction Fund.
Then came his devastating diagnosis and an unexpected gift. PIE’s Talib Graves-Manns and Activest’s Micah Gilmer will join ImpactAlpha’s David Bank to help sketch that journey.
Napoleon will participate remotely via his text-to-voice “Eye Pad,” through which he continues the work with his signature humor and incisive intelligence.
The video is produced by ImpactAlpha with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
