The Joint SDG Fund launched a Call on SDG Financing for an envelope of US$100 million in 2020 to support the UN system influence the ways in which capital is allocated. The challenge is financing the achievement of the SDGs in developing countries by 2030. We will unwrap a wide UN collaborative effort that generated from the Secretary-General’s strategy and roadmap on Financing the Agenda 2030 with a focus on actions and the role of the UN system in steering the agenda. The intervention reflects on the challenge of bringing effectively together different cultures and types of investors-how to help realized interest and passion for the SDGs into engagement into often difficult and demanding (beyond money or risks) efforts?
