Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) are cornerstones in LMI communities across the United States, providing key financial services to communities that are largely overlooked by traditional financial institutions. Despite this clear focus on impact for these communities, the MDI sector has been largely overlooked by impact investors. This panel looks at the opportunities presented by MDIs and how impact investors can look to partner with such institutions to scale racial equity and climate financing in America's marginalized communities.
