As social impact leaders, we often feel that there is a certain way that we need to talk and a particular lifestyle we have to live to be considered "good" people who are doing "good" work. The subtle pressure to conform to dominant norms can lead us onto a social impact path that is not authentically our own. How can we disrupt this pattern and embrace more diverse and inclusive visions of social change? This interactive session will enable us to recognize and embrace our origins, explore how they've shaped us, and connect with our personal power. By doing this, we can effectively communicate our stories in the world as the next generation of social impact leaders.
