The Liberatory Regeneration of the Deep South

HBCUx and Clarke Street Fund (CSF), two dynamic southern-based companies that center regenerative practices of activating Black spaces in art + tech, the role and importance of HBCUs in the cultivation of blk liberation practices, developing local community based funding models, and connectivity between independent creative producers and emerging blk creatives entering the arts workforce. Clarke Street Fund and HBCUx seek to rewrite the narrative of the south through mentorship, the creation of black story labs, and equitable funding models that center Blk makers + change agents who are reimagining the capitalist, patriarchal, heteronormative power structures.
